Ephrata won decisively in their L-L League Quarterfinals match up with Donegal, beating the Indians 11-1 in 5 innings! Ben Burkey got the Win… Mounts top of the order(Schwanger, McCracken, Hurst) went 7-9 with 8 RBI & 5 runs scored!

— Ephrata (Section 2 Champs) plays Lancaster Catholic (Section 4 Champs) Saturday in the League Semifinals at 1pm (War Memorial Field – Ephrata)

EPIC comeback for Manheim Central, who trailed Warwick by 15pts in the 2nd quarter & again by 14pts in the 3rd… BUT the Barons posted 45 points in the 2nd half to pull out the victory 69-65! Ephrata completed the season sweep of Lampeter-Strasburg, knocking off the Pioneers 7-1! Camryn Simes threw 6.2 strong innings, 11 K’s, 4 H, 1 R! Trent Wolf had a 3 hit day, including a crucial 3 RBI triple in the 5th! Ephrata is 10-1 in Section 2, closing in on another Title & home Playoff game!

Girls Soccer: Warwick vs. Manheim Central (8-31-22)

Fantastic First game in our Girls Soccer coverage this Fall! Warwick knocks off Manheim Central 3-2 in a hotly contested showdown! Warriors Olivia Shertzer led the way with 2 Goals… Grace Bowman added her 1st goal of the season! Warwick moved to 2-0! For the Lady Barons, Senior goal scorers Kaylee Neff & Abbie Reed netted both goals! Check out the highlights here…

5A District 3 Football (Quarterfinals) – Exeter vs Manheim Central (11-12-21)

#2 Manheim Central UPSET in the 5A District 3 Playoffs by #7 Exeter... 43-27! Eagles RB Eric Nangle had a monster day on the ground with 230 yards & 3 TD's! With the win, Exeter advanced to the 5A District 3 Semifinals against #6 Cedar Cliff!

Manheim Central finished their season 9-2, with a share of the Section 2 Title! Great Season Barons... see you next Fall!
