?WHAT A MATCH? Cocalico & Warwick wrestled an intense Section 1 match that saw the Eagles race out to a commanding 24-0 lead, only to have Warwick rattle off 6 bouts in a row to tie it 24-24! Both teams traded pins at 145 & 152…ending in a 30-30 TIE! So we went to criteria & Warwick pulled out the 31-30 win on the strength of winning 7 bouts on the night compared to Cocalico’s 6! Hempfield kept their PERFECT season (21-0) alive, knocking off Ephrata 2-1 in the L-L League Baseball Championship Game! It’s Hempfield’s 1st League ⚾️🏆 since 2014 & their 10th overall! Black Knights starting pitcher Brody Gebhard got the Win (6 IP, 4 H, 1 R, 6 K, 4 BB)… Mounts starting pitcher Collin Miller went toe to toe with Hempfield’s hitter but got the loss (5.2 IP, 7 H, 2 R, 6 K, 2 BB)
