Hempfield Boys Volleyball makes a statement as they sweep Warwick 3-0, ending the Warriors unbeaten record! Black Knights also forced a tie atop the Section 1 standings! In their 4th straight trip to the 4A Semifinals, #2 Warwick FINALLY made it thru to the District 3 Championship Game with a 3-0 Win over #11 Mechanicsburg! Eli Yerger scored 2 Goals for the Warriors… 37th minute & 77th minute! Gavin Kochel scored his first varsity goal in the 63rd minute! Warwick advanced to their first District 3 Final since 2005 (when they tied Manheim Township 3–3 & shared the ⚽️🏆)

Lancaster won a rain-soaked game against Southern Maryland 10-3 to complete the 3-game sweep of the Blue Crabs! Stormers jumped out to a 3-0 lead in the 3rd inning & kept scoring every inning for the next 5 innings! Shawon Dunston & Trace Loehr each homered, while Damon Dues knocked home 3 more runs! Brady Tedesco threw 7.1 strong innings, giving up 1 run on 3 hits, striking out 9 batters!
