In the final Barnstormers broadcast on Blue Ridge 11 TV this Summer… Lancaster helped out their 1st place crusade with a 7-2 WIN over Spire City! Stormers got a solid outting on the mound from Brent Teller (6 IP, 4 H, 2 ER) & a 4-4 day at the plate from Shawon Dunston Jr.!

In our first High School baseball game of the Spring, Manheim Central jumped out to a big lead & held on for the 6-5 win over Cocalico! Barons Colton Book had a 3-run HR in the 1st! SP Connor Rohrer gets the Win; had 6 K’s! Also need to give a shoutout to Cocalico Freshman pitcher Trent Dickson, who threw 5 shutout innings in relief, gave up just 1 hit to a potent Barons lineup! Ephrata led from start to finish against Penn Manor in a hard fought 11-8 Win! Mounts went up 6-0 after the 1st quarter, with 5 different Ephrata players contributing on the scoreboard! Once the Comets mounted a comeback, it was up to Tyler Thomas & Parker Snow to close out the victory with Ephrata’s final 5 goals! Mounts have 1 game remaining against Cocalico in the "Backyard Brawl" makeup game set for May 14!

Cocalico's "Cinderella Story" in the HS Football postseason came to an end in the 5A PIAA State Semifinals with a 34-12 loss against District 7 Champ, Pine-Richland! The Eagles, who came in as the 5A District 3 Champs feel behind 21-0 at the half & could complete the 2nd half comeback! Cocalico ends their season 10-5 with the program's 4th District Title & 3rd appearance in the State Semifinals!
