Atlantic League Baseball: Lexington vs. Lancaster (7-20-23)

In our first High School baseball game of the Spring, Manheim Central jumped out to a big lead & held on for the 6-5 win over Cocalico! Barons Colton Book had a 3-run HR in the 1st! SP Connor Rohrer gets the Win; had 6 K’s! Also need to give a shoutout to Cocalico Freshman pitcher Trent Dickson, who threw 5 shutout innings in relief, gave up just 1 hit to a potent Barons lineup! Once again the YEARLY “Grudge Match” between Cocalico & Manheim Central ? did NOT disappoint! Barons & Eagles traded points, turnovers & the lead throughout… but it was Manheim Central getting the Big Win…35-19! Barons move to 3-0 this season! Check out the highlights here...

District 3 Boys Volleyball THRILLER! #3 Central York & #2 Warwick slugged it out like a pair of state ranked squads should 💥🏐💥 BUT the Panthers narrowly advanced to the 3A Finals by a 3-2 nail biter over Warwick!

▪️Warriors lost to Cedar Crest in the 3rd place game on June 1... both teams moved onto States!

Warwick moved one game closer to securing Back to Back Section 1 Titles, knocking off Penn Manor 2-0! Levi Hoover had both goals for Warwick! Isaac Yerger was solid in goal, sealing another shutout!

-- Warriors are now 7-2 in Section 1 & 13-3 overall, after a loss to Hempfield! IF Warwick beats Cedar Crest on Saturday, October 5... they REPEAT as Section 1 Champs!
