In our first High School baseball game of the Spring, Manheim Central jumped out to a big lead & held on for the 6-5 win over Cocalico! Barons Colton Book had a 3-run HR in the 1st! SP Connor Rohrer gets the Win; had 6 K’s! Also need to give a shoutout to Cocalico Freshman pitcher Trent Dickson, who threw 5 shutout innings in relief, gave up just 1 hit to a potent Barons lineup! Ephrata completed the season sweep of Lampeter-Strasburg, knocking off the Pioneers 7-1! Camryn Simes threw 6.2 strong innings, 11 K’s, 4 H, 1 R! Trent Wolf had a 3 hit day, including a crucial 3 RBI triple in the 5th! Ephrata is 10-1 in Section 2, closing in on another Title & home Playoff game!
