Cocalico took care of business against Garden Spot in a Section 2 matchup, beating the Spartans 3-0 (25-6, 25-17, 25-15)! Eagles moved to 8-1 overall & 5-1 in Section 2, just a game back of Manheim Central! 🔹Josh Byrom led the Eagles with 10 kills, Reilly Stark had 7! Senior Colson Hildebrand served really well with 9 aces thru out the 3 games! Jacob Wambolt had 26 assists!
#1 Manheim Central had to literally survive & advance today beating #16 Mechanicsburg 4-3! Barons took an early 4-0 lead, but hung on against a scrappy Wildcats squad & moved onto the 5A District 3 Quarterfinals on Thursday against #8 Muhlenberg! Hempfield won its first League Title since 2011, downing Manheim Central 57-46! Black Knights leading scorer, Miguel Pena led the way with 21 points... Ben Troyer & Kamyn Lawrence each added 11! Barons were led by Trey Grube, who had 19 points... Zach Benner added 10!
