Mounts Junior pitcher Camryn Simes (1-0) struck out 10 Warwick batters thru 6 innings, giving up 1 hit & 2 runs! Leadoff hitter Ethan Hunt reached base ALL 5 at-bats, scored 4 times (4 BB, 1b, 4 runs, 2 RBI)... Great matchup between Ephrata and Cocalico girls ⚽️ in the “Backyard Brawl”… the ONLY meeting this season! But despite both teams’ Best effort… neither Offense scored against the other’s Defense! Great goal keeping from Ephrata’s Amaya Jones & Cocalico’s Molly Barrett! This one went 100 heart-pounding minutes of scoreless action & ended in a 0-0 draw!
🔹Cocalico moved to 3-0-2 while Ephrata is now 2-1-1!
Baseball: Northern Lebanon vs. Cocalico (3/24/25)
Northern Lebanon picked up a 13-2 win over Cocalico in non-league action! Vikings Senior pitcher Brian Bicksler (2-1) was strong on the mound (5.1 IP, 3H, 2 R, 7 K) in the Win! Northern Lebanon's 2-3-4 hitters (Adrian Gonzalez, Connor Stoltz, Riley Messinger) were a combined 7-9 at the plate with 6 RBI, 7 runs scored, 2 doubles & 2 walks! Cocalico pushed across to runs late in the 6th inning, but could not hold off the Vikings offensive attack!
Northern Lebanon improved to 4-1, while Cocalico dropped to 1-4!
Girl’s Basketball Elco vs. Manheim Central (2/16/21)
Thriller of a game between Elco & Manheim Central girls!?? Went down to the wire but Elco escapes Manheim with the 54-53 victory! Maddie Knier was spectacular with 28 points, but Elco had 3 players in double figures... Kailey Eckhart (16), Ashley Yoh & Amanda Smith (14)! Smith hit the game-winner with 10 seconds left!
