Ephrata Head Coach Kris Miller & several of his players sat down with us at this year’s football media day, held at the LNP Downtown Lancaster headquarters! Last year, the Mounts enjoyed their MOST successful season in program History, making it to the 5A District 3 Championship Game! Now as they embark on the 2024 Season, hear how Ephrata is focusing on a different group of guys!

Softball: Cocalico vs. Manheim Central (4-23-25)

Cocalico and Manheim Central were locked in a tight ballgame that came down to the final innings... as the Lady Barons rallied to win 5-4! Cocalico took the early 3-0 lead, with runs by Kira Lehman, Gretchen Showalter & Clarissa Lockman... but Central plated 2 runs in the bottom of the 3rd with a 2 RBI single from Abbi Logan! Warwick Softball wins their season opener over Cedar Crest 3-2! Warriors scored all 3 runs in the 1st inning, held on late for the Win thanks to Sam Shaak in the circle… 7 IP, 8 K’s, 4 H, 2 R… with an RBI Double in the 1st inning! Warriors travel to Penn Manor on Friday for a Section 1 Showdown!

In a L-L League, Section 2 Baseball matchup... Elizabethtown came into War Memorial Field & stormed out with a 5-0 win over Ephrata! Bears' Starting Pitcher Jake Black got the CG Shutout win on the mound; 9 K’s! Oh yeah... AND had a solo HR, 1B, 2 RBI, 2 R! Here’s the highlights...

Boys Lacrosse: Penn Manor vs. Ephrata (4-22-25)

Ephrata led from start to finish against Penn Manor in a hard fought 11-8 Win! Mounts went up 6-0 after the 1st quarter, with 5 different Ephrata players contributing on the scoreboard! Once the Comets mounted a comeback, it was up to Tyler Thomas & Parker Snow to close out the victory with Ephrata’s final 5 goals! Mounts have 1 game remaining against Cocalico in the "Backyard Brawl" makeup game set for May 14!
