2024 L-L League Football Media Day — Ephrata Mounts (8-2-24)

Ephrata Head Coach Kris Miller & several of his players sat down with us at this year’s football media day, held at the LNP Downtown Lancaster headquarters! Last year, the Mounts enjoyed their MOST successful season in program History, making it to the 5A District 3 Championship Game! Now as they embark on the 2024 Season, hear how Ephrata is focusing on a different group of guys!

Manheim Central narrowly escaped Ephrata with a 30-29 victory that came down to the Final bout of the night! Boys Basketball: Cocalico vs. Ephrata (1-8-25)

Round 1 of the “Backyard Brawl” went to Ephrata (4-1 Sec. 2) who knocked off rival Cocalico (3-3 Sec. 2) 58-43! Mounts used a 17-4 advantage in the 4th quarter to pull away! Ephrata’s Marqus Hardin led all scorers with 22 points! Landry Kopp & Grayson Shellhammer each added 11! Cocalico’s Timmy Hambright had 19 points, including 5 three-pointers!

Girls Lacrosse: Garden Spot vs. Cocalico (4-25-23)

Cocalico Lady Eagles scored their highest total of goals in a game this season with a 25-10 Win over Garden Spot! Cocalico moved to 8-5 overall & 7-2 in Section 2 play... which has them in the #2 spot for League Playoffs, with a HUGE game coming up Thursday, April 27 against Elizabethtown (Senior Night)

5A District 3 Baseball – First Round: Mechanicsburg vs. Manheim Central (5-25-21)

#1 Manheim Central had to literally survive & advance today beating #16 Mechanicsburg 4-3! Barons took an early 4-0 lead, but hung on against a scrappy Wildcats squad & moved onto the 5A District 3 Quarterfinals on Thursday against #8 Muhlenberg! Central's starting Pitcher Colton Book got the Win... went 6 IP, 7 K, 2 R! Wyatt Becker got the save! Check out the highlights here...
